Our dossier has been authenticated by the State Department and is now on its way to the Ethiopian Embassy. Our courier said she should receive it back from the Ethiopian Embassy tomorrow or Wednesday. Yeah! We like it when things move quickly!
Also, we received our approval from USCIS today. (Remember when we had to travel down to Indianapolis to the Dept. of Homeland Security? Probably not. But we do!) So, this means that we have been approved by DHS to adopt a foreign-born child.
Check out the time line and the TBA list! Holy moly...look at all the things we have completed and now the very, very few (but, obviously most important things) that are still on the list. We definitely have a wait ahead of us, but we have already come a long way! Thanks for your continued prayers!
